It is October 25th, 2018.<\/p>\n

Beto O’Rourke is making some incredible progress in Texas. But it’s Texas. <\/p>\n

Demographic changes have some people thinking that Texas will eventually turn blue. But is it ready yet? I’m not sure. But I have a prediction. <\/p>\n

Mark it down. Come back in two weeks to see if I’m right. Come back in two years to see if I’m really<\/em> right.<\/p>\n

Here goes:<\/p>\n

Late at night on November 6th, Beto O’Rourke will take the stage to make a concession speech.<\/p>\n

I hope he wins, but I think Texas is too red still.<\/p>\n

Beto’s speech will sound something like this:<\/p>\n

Thank you so much for your support. I’m sorry we couldn’t win this race. <\/p>\n

In June, we were down 10 points.<\/p>\n

In August, we were down 6 points.<\/p>\n

In September, we were down just 3 points!<\/em><\/p>\n

Today we lost by 1 point.<\/p>\n

Imagine what we could have done with one more month.<\/p>\n

Imagine what we could do with two more years.<\/p>\n

**Pause while crowd gasps.**<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This campaign is not ending tonight. I want to help Texas. To do that best, I think I need to help America.<\/p>\n

This 2018 Senate Campaign is now a 2020 Presidential Campaign.<\/p>\n

We’ve come this far. With another month, we would’ve won the senate. With another two years, we’ll win the White House.<\/p>\n
